Crafting has been down. I have been working on jewellery but nothing I can share yet. I have been getting girls back to school and seeing if my youngest will settle into kindy and trying to sort out a glitch in the finances that just cropped up. Not serious but annoying especially when everything SHOULD have been done.
Miss L didn’t take to Kindy very well. She was happy enough the first morning waving goodbye and laughing but the teacher wasn’t like the old one and Miss L took a dislike to her and the second day she cried, screamed and threw herself down, that was before we got her out of the car.
The following day wasn’t a kindy day but we drove past it and she broke into tears sobbing “don’t want to go to kindy” It almost broke my heart. We have decided to persevere one more week but if she still cries I will keep her home. She is only 3 so there is no hurry.
I thought she may like having friends her own age and doing more fun things then with mum. But maybe not.
While she was at Kindy I took advantage and started to declutter her room. Her room is a BIG problem. There are no shelves so stuff ends up on the floor. Her sisters also have a habit that if they want a toy out of their room but don’t want to lose it totally they “give” it to Miss L. That way they can still play with it without it cluttering up their room. Well I made a decision and informed the girls that if they are getting rid of things (toys) it MUST go to charity.
Now tis may seem like a waste BUT the photo below may change your mind
I managed 15 minutes and cleared out 1 garbage bag full. She doesn’t need her sisters toys there are quite a lot of their toys in there.
Now it isn’t much but another full day in there will make it so much better. She will be getting a big girls bed and storage will go underneath. Some toys she is too old for and so they will disappear. She has blocks and lego and they will stay. She has these other block things but she has never touched them so I will clear them out and give them to the kindy or prep. The trolley will go she has two prams (one will most likely go) so the trolly isn’t needed.
Someone said to sell it but it has gotten to the stage where I just want it gone. I will pray that our excess will bless someone less fortunate.
