I am very impressed with myself.
I have been knitting a few things. Nothing complicated 2 larger dishcloths, a scarf and a shoulder throw.
I was looking at Craftivity. And to be onest although it has some really fabulous projects they aren’t for me.
But the knitting did appeal. Someone like me who really doesn’t knit terribly well put up some ideas and I put them to good use making the scarf and the shawl I added 5 strands of different wools together and it turned out well. I even used some of my Xmas money and purchased orange and red 25mm (1″) needles and green and blue 20mm ones. Miss t thinks they are the ugliest things she has ever seen but I love them. The scarf is simple cast on stitches (whatever you wish) and knit. Knit till you are happy with the length cast off. easy with the huge needles very quick and it looks great.
I plan to make another scarf a male one. It feels odd to be kitting in summer as normally I knit in winter but I found it relaxing and wanted dishcloths.
Whiskas is on ebay here
I am on a no spend month. I have Xmas money though so that is why I bought the needles. No wool though I am using that I have up. I will make a few gifts that are due in February.
I am looking at buying a bike with trailer. I did talk about this a while ago but didn’t do anything, now it is different. fuel prices are going up. the girls want to ride to school (it is too far to by themselves with dangerous roads) and I wouldn’t mind being healthier. The groceries can be done Mondays or Tuesdays but I will have to have them delivered as my groceries wouldn’t survive the trip home NOR would they all fit.
I would need to pick the girls up each afternoon as well so I will be getting plenty of exercise.
Bears need to be made and so does jewellery. I need to get some pictures here as well!
Haved a nice day.

Glad you are enjoying the knitting. Bike and trailer – sounds interesting (I can’t ride a bike!)
