Here they are 2 weeks ago.
And Now
It has been absoute madness these past 2 weeks. In the top container we have Birdy on the top, then Hector the little white fluff ball is Zipper and is a Maroon Bellied Conure. the others are all peach faces.
The next box has Boogie laying on the top, Fluffy next (yes they are the original two) and lying under both is Roxy. we unfortunately lost 3 that hatched and some of the eggs I thought were fertile weren’t. we are waiting to see if one more egg hatches. I have found it tiring getting up every 2 hours to feed the younger ones but soon they will stretch out to 3 hourly and then 4 hourly.
And before anyone thins to ask me yes I can tell the difference between them. they are quite distinctive in their personalities and looks. My sun conures are going well as all other birds are even if they hate their medication.
I have been busy creating as well. 2 dresses
this dress is made from the Anna pattern. It is easy easy to make basically two pieces that tie at the back. so pretty you can get the pattern here and you can see more samples of the work here and here. There are others if you take a peek in the forum. The pattern is very generous in size I made this for Miss L (size 1) but it ended up with Miss C (size 3).
I also made another dress for Miss N and a pair of boxers for her as well. I just need to finish up a t-shirt and she will be done! I did some painting but haven’t finished those yet. i was inspired by Mon she does some lovely things, and she reminded me how much i used to enjoy doing cartoonish animals. well she does some beautiful ones and so I picked up the paintbrush and had some fun pictures tomorrow.
I have been writing alot! I’m thrilled that it is flowing and what is making me really happy is that I seem to be still able to fit other things in around it as well. I am not burying myself totally. i have been siting with the girls and involving them in what I do.
But my poor blog has suffered as have my forum friends. real life can sometimes step up and when you turn around time has been devoured.
I am thinking of you all i do check the blogs when I have time. but the forums well that is another story. I’ll see what i can do to say hi to everyone.

Thanks Bron! Glad to see them growing and starting to look like conures – I’d love to have one. Stick it in the post would you (joke!) Pretty dresses, must be nice to be able to wear those; we are back to coats and jumpers after a non-existent summer.
Wow Bron the birds are growing. I love the name zipper. hehe Looking forward to seeing your painting.
